Waco-McLennan County Public Health District is excited to announce George Roberts, CEO of Northeast Texas Public Health District inTyler, will be speaking with our community regarding the successes of their Fit City Tyler campaign.  The Health Education program researched various interventions that help tackle the rising rates of obesity and other chronic diseases attributed to obesity.FitCityTyleris a wellness initiative formed by the city’s media outlets and carried out through efforts of the local health department, area businesses and community agencies.

Anyone interested in promoting and engaging in efforts for a healthierMcLennanCountyis invited to attend.
